Thanks for posting this. Some of the photos I just have a hard time believing this is planet Earth! I would love to fly around the world and see these scenes for real.

btw- I just had to mention this. this picture was taken at an airshow, and if I remember correctly, there was actually a stunts someone standing on the wings (I know that they did it on a few planes, I'm pretty sure this was one of them.) talk about flying around the earth and seeing things

I work in Photoshop.
I copied and pasted the entire layer.
Using the rectangular marquee tool, I made a marquee frame about 1/4 of an inch around.
I inverted the frame and then hit delete.
Deselect the area then Layer Style - Bevel Emboss - Pillow Emboss.
Then I played around with the sliders until it looked right (although I usually leave it the default).
Then I flatten image and save as a JPG.
