I have 3 girls - you'd think I would know ...
what type of things does she like ... girly girl stuff or into sports ... would a FUN outting be her thing ... like a craft place to build a bear or some pottery ...
does she have her ears pierced - you could go do that together and then lunch ...

I got my daughter an Mp3 player (a little, $20 one) and loaded it with jewish music and stories. She loves it! (Especially since it's pink and sparkly!)
I also got her a cute little make up bag. Inside I put hair stuff, mini lotion, lipgloss, etc. That was a hit too!

We also got my daughter a cheap, pink MP3 player for Chanuka and she loves it! She did not love her birthday gift as much (also seven)
