I'm looking to buy a GPS- know nothing about them. What would you reccommend in the low price range? Is Garmin Nuvi the best? Please help! Thanks!!

an important feature is one that does text to speech and reads out the street names, ours does not do this, and it will tell you right turn ahead, meanwhile there might be three streets up ahead to turn, and you have to constantly consult the GPS to see exactly which one it meant.
If it would have announced right turn on main street, it would be a lot clearer

We have the Garmin Nuvi too...I'm not sure what model number. It does have bluetooth though so I guess it's newer then the 750. We just started using it and so far it seems good!

We have the Nuvi too and we're very happy with it. I don't know the model number but we've had it for a couple years and use it all the time.
