both... acrylic paint in those little bottles from the craft store are great, but I also use acyclic (not oil) paint from the hardware store when I need large amounts like for a big tree.

my apartment is rented. my landlady is a nervous old frenchwoman. I'd be afraid to make a major change like that. maybe durring the summer I'll try a small thing on one wall.

Don't ask don't tell.... Let them see stars when you move. I didn't tell but when they heard about the drama going on they wanted to see. occasionally I keep getting more visitors, it's so cool!

I would, I did some other homes (friends). DO you have an idea? You'll need to come up with the inspiration... and I'll make it come true.

I run a jewelry business out of my tiny apartment, and I do fairly well but it's a REALLY tough market. What I make is very unusual, otherwise I'd be starving right now.

If you are looking for a cheap place to show off your work, Artfire.com will let you list 10 items for free, or unlimited listings for $7.00 a month. By comparison, when I was on Etsy I was paying around $80.00 or more per month and getting nowhere.

I have my own domain down, but I know the people over at Artfire and they are very honest, caring and responsible business people. They actually answer emails! Besides, Etsy has lately become the trendy place to sell "mature" items. I'm not sure you want your customers to accidentally stumble across stuff like that. shock

Shakleemom are those your rooms? Wow Impressed. The acrylic paints don't peel eventually off the walls?
