So my 21 month old dd has this thing about soap. In the bath she uses it to wash everything except herself. She likes soap so much that she insists on calling many substances "soap" & on using them as such. The white liquid in her sippy cup is soap, ketchup is soap, salad dressing...
This morning my dd walked into the dining room washing her hands with something. She was all excited & said "mommy.soap." I went to get a closer look (& smell) & asked my dh if he had given her soap. When he said no, I smelled again. She was washing her hands, face, hair, etc with maple syrup. She use 3/4 of a bottle to wash herself & a nice portion of my kitchen too. I should've taken pictures. I'm sure I'll have more photo ops though.

That is good. LOL
For a while my oldest son thought ketchup is shampoo. I never buy it, so he couldn't have known what it really is. So he assumed.
But at least he didn't get a chance to bathe the world in it!! Oyoyoy.
