What type of black tights do pp. wear in the winter? Opaque? Do pp. wear the sheer ones? Or is that more for the chassidish-type of person?

In the winter most people wear opaque except to a simcha or perhaps on shabbos to Shul, then sheer nude. I don't really know when people wear sheer black.
