Yesterday my father had another scan after 6 weeks of chemo and radiation and 6 weeks of rest.
BH BH BH the scan showed that the tumor practically melted away. the surgery will b much easier to do now.
Countless ppl r davening and taking on kabalos in his zchus (especially in shmiras halashon as he never spoke ill will of anybody) And I thank you all!!!
But of course it's not over yet, the surgery still has to go well and then theres remission with more chemo and radiation.
Last night I slipped on ice and twisted my leg and dislocated my knee. This has happened to me before and I kno the correct protocol to follow but this time it was ten times worse. BH my shver who usually parks in his driveway parked on the street and saw me fall. Thank gd bc my phone was thrown into the street. I waited twenty minutes for the ambulance then had to wait some more (in the worst pain ever) for 4 fireman to come to help lift me bc they were afraid theyd drop me and make matters worse.
I screamed and yelped and once they got me on the stretcher I apologized for screaming in their ears and thanked them for what they do.
I dont kno how I was able to think clearly. I almost vomited and blacked out from the pain many times. I was on oxygen but it didnt help.
Even while I was still lying on the street in the gravel, snow and ice I kept saying over and over this should b a kapparah for my father among other things.
I davened so much in the hospital for all my friends and family. I was so hopped up on morphine my mil had to send my shver out of the room bc I wouldnt stop singing "elah b'rechev"!
I am now home and cannot sleep but cannot carry on a conversation or play a game on my phone bc I black out.
I doubt I will be leaving my house or even my bed for quite awhile. (going to the bathroom is sooo hard!)
Anyway, I wanted to publicly say that this should be a kapparah, just in case Hashem wanted me to profess it out loud.
Thanks for listening

Babe, I have yet to live in a place that is paved in stone here in Israel. We DO have to be careful indoors when the floors are wet and that is for sure no picnic. But no ice except in the freezer.

my knee dislocated once in israel, right ouside from my apt. I sat there crying from he pain for awhile while my husband came rushing (he had been playing poker with his friends and I had been out jogging.) we lived at he top of the building, 102 steps up, no elevator. my husband and his friend had to carry me up. that time tho wasnt half as bad as this one.

Surgery only took 3.5 hours.
It went really well! BH!
the dr said it went so well that he may not have to be in the ICU at all!
If everything goes alright they expect him to get home before next shabbes.
