Oy, I just saw this thread.
Sorry to hear your dad is sick. His being sick has NOTHING to do with whether or not you cover your hair around the house. Please, please, drop the guilt.
If you want I will ask my husband to get your dad's name into the Amshinov Rebbe for a bracha.
Hugs

Just noticed this thread, as I am getting ready to join my Tehilim group.
Last night I saw your father's name mentioned in another thread, and I wrote myself a note to add his name to our Refuah Shleima list today imy"H.
On the other thread I had no idea who's name it was, but somehow my inner feelings told me, this must be someone very pure and Holy.
In this thread, I discovered that my feelings were 'accurate' 8) (as usual Wink )

May he have a Refuah Shleima bekarov mamesh, and may he live to join in many Simchas by you בעזר"ה bekarov, and by the others in the family as well, "gezunterheit" עמו"ש

ClaRivka,
I just pray that your father will recover completely from this tzuris. And may he live till 120, both for himself and for my Mom Sad
She tried to beat pancreatic cancer for 17 months (but it was much more advanced and already spread when they diagnosed her). Still, we had quite a few good months to enjoy her special company.

Refuah Sheleima!

theres a man in williamsburgh I don't know his official title but he helps people in all sorts of medical and nutritional issues he recently gave a relative some advice on what foods to eat to gain an appetite also related to cancer issues. Maybe someone on here knows his name and number, if I remember correctly his name was oberlander but I don't have his number.
