I'm not, as I never fast the minor fast days. Yom kippur always, and tisha be'av if I'm not pregnant or nursing.

I'm fasting although it makes me slow... Very Happy

still have a nursing baby, but he really doesn't nurse too much (twice daily)
also I understood that of the minor fast days, 17 of Tammuz is borderline major...

I remember last 17 of Tammuz was the first time I had to fast that fast pregnant. But only because I was late and the Rav said "Why not, it could speed things up."? It didn't really, but the fast wasn't awful..

No. I still am right now but will break it eventually.

I always feel so guilty eating - right when I start - anybody else?

This is the first minor fast I'm attempting. No one mention any more egg sandwiches!

If you've been told not to fast for halachic reasons - why should you feel guilty? Tell yourself this is your mitzva.

And if you should be fasting - then why shouldn't you feel guilty? - don't break the fast = don't feel guilty.

Actually, of the minor fast days the Rebbe said the asarah b'teves is the most major.

I thought I also learned this as well. I thought I learned that asarah b'teves is the only fast for which if it falls out on shabbos (which it never does, but in theory) one would be obligated to fast on shabbos.

im not lubavitch, but my husbands rav says even when im preg or nursing I should try asarah beteves because it's a really important fast.

I am not fasting today. I usually try to fast, but my husbands rav said not to because of the heat.
