if you have these beads, have your Boys (yes, boys!) make lettering using the square tile as a pattern outliner. My son is working on this for two days now, and I’m even letting him iron on his own he is spelling out the ‘b’sukkas’ posuk, one letter at a time. Then, he is connecting them with clear ones. Here’s a picture.

my kids are too little for this, but it looks like a really nice idea. kol hakavod on the creativeness!
(I hope I remember this in a couple of years when the "ma, I'm bored" starts )

I used to do this as a kid. I made cool patterns from the beads and wrote on it with paint marker. you can hang them up by threading some of the beads with a sewing needle. you can also attach letters this way. I loved these things, but forgot what they were called, so thanks.

These beads you iron out and they melt and stick together, even cooler than sewing!

I'm talking about these beads, lol. I used a needle to put a ribbon through one of the beads after I ironed it so I could hang it from the schach easily.

Oh, so cool. I am thinking of ironing a hook into the plastic. Will see. So far two words are finished and I told him to do the other 2 tomorrow. Time killed – 5 hours today, 2 hour yesterday. Hurray!
