I really want a short shaitel. I have one which I loved when it was new, but after a few months it wore out or something. now it only looks good for the first few days after I leave the shaitel macher. it is a shevy.
anyone have a long term successful short shaitel? ideas of which brands work?
I would also REALLY love a curly short shaitel. but I noticed that the nice curly ones (like barbara) are usually long. the curls don't start till six or eight inches from the cap. if the shaitel was cut short, the curls would disappear. any ideas / suggestions?

paula young has this cute short one (synthetic). I see loads of young girls wearing it. It's called "debut". check it out.

You know, I wanted to get one too. My DH loves my hair short & wants me to get a sheitel like it. I was going to try Paula Young. My friend once bought one & was very happy. they are cheap so you can't expect them to last forever, but a year will do me fine.

I agree--my best ever sheitel is the one I wear now, which I got from PY for about $25 (the Leah, which boo hoo they've discontinued now). More compliments than I ever got on any $400 human hair wig and perfectly comfortable, or as much as any non-custom is.
