What age do u start bringing baby to dentist? And what about brushing teeth?

I started brushing teeth at 1.5/2. Dentist told me to start being the kids at ages 2-3. Just to count the teeth. But if your child is going to head start they need to be seen by age 3.

My kids have 12 teeth by a year so we go to dentist at 10 months or so
