there are so many diff versions

dont know which to choose....

Eiyer Kichel

-3 eggs
-1 ¾ cups potato starch
-2 tbs sugar
-½ cup oil
-Pinch salt

Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Mix all ingredients well. Spead onto cookie sheets with spatula. Bake for 10 minutes, cut into 2 inch squares, return to oven and back for additional 25-30 minutes until golden

I saw the exact recipe in a cookbook but calling for 8 eggs.

1 3/4 cup starch will make batter very heavy and hard to divide into two cookie sheets. I did this with 1 1/3 cup starch. Did it twice already. It's delicious.

If you use spices, I make different kinds.
I put ontop onion flakes, pizza spice, salt, Zadar, mixed .... my kids love it. They eat it with egg and tuna salad.

I make this but I find it extremely difficult to spread in the pan. They end up too thick. I wouldn't mind trying a different recipe

Hence the tweak of 1 1/3 cup starch. Try it. Then it isn't hard to spread into pans
