For office gifts? If your office gifts a gift Chanukah time or pesach time (under $150) do you email, and if yes whom do you email if it’s a large office- the one who actually bought the gift is an employee but multiple owners must have authorized it?
I said thank you when someone handed it to me.

I would email the heads up if the company, thanking them. I would send another email to the employee who picked out the gift (they didn’t buy it just picked it out) and thank them for making a wonderful choice
If you are unsure who exactly is involved, email it to your boss and ask them to pass it along to all involved

I would not unless it was picked up specifically for me. If every employee received a gift I would not send a thank you email.

I email the owner and one who arranged it every time. It's awkward at this point since it's bh every pesach succos Chanukah and Purim but I still do it. It's the right thing to do. "Thank you for the gift. It is very much appreciated."
