I live in NY. Until what age do most boys wear shorts in the summer. They can't wear to school obviously. My son won't wear on shabbos anymore which I get...suits don't come with shorts. But during the hot summer week. My son is turning 8. Does it stop with puberty? Or depends on his crowd? We are mainstream but some of his friends are yesheivish.

There’s a huge range of ages. Ask someone who sends to the camp you’re planning on sending to what’s done.

Whatever the boys in his camp do
By us it’s 1st grade but up to 2nd is acceptable, so around 7 yrs old.
