Hi, I am looking for a school for my toddler.
We are regular frum, more dati leumi type.
My main goal is to find a school focused more on middot tovot, looking for a warm environment where the focus is on being good more than academics or anything.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing suggestions!

Any suggestions? If you like your school and think they are doing a good job, pls suggest! School either for boys or mixed is okay too.

Preferably near Mid wood and Flatbush, but open to other locations in Brooklyn. Borough Park might be too far, but Marine Park would work too.

Oh good to know, actually DH is Sephardic so we would fit in. He went there and family too. I'm just looking for more options..would prefer a smaller school.

Depends what type of sephardic you are.
Like at Flatbush yeshivah, if you're not Syrian sephardic, you're an outlier.
There's are two schools on Kings Highway - one called Lev Torah and one in the Kingway building, I don't know what it's called.

Is it a warm, small school type? I really want to focus more on a school that shows love for Torah umitzvot, growing as a person.

Try YDE. Dh being sefardi isn't enough for myd or yof. It's Syrian through and through. A lot of non Syrian sefardi families are sending these days to tiferes yisroel. My son's class was 50% sefardi (is included). But not sure if they're your religious speed.

Thanks, yes dh isn't SY though has SY family as well (has SY cousins)and actually went to MDY but we were looking into something smaller. I would prefer a more varied Sephardic environment or Sephardic plus Ashkenazi. I'll look into these, thank you!

3rd that. If not SY its hard to be in an SY school. Prospect has many Syrian and sephardic families. Great all inclusive curriculum.

My toddler is a boy so that's why I didn't think of PPY! But is there a boy equivalent of that?

Tiferes Yisroel is as close as you're gonna get. And YDE is a smaller warmer sefardi school. YTY families tend to be more to the right that YDE families though.
