Brooklyn or monsey?
Yitty Fisch runs it, but you’ll speak to a secretary first at wherever location you call.

I know who runs it, but you most likely won't be speaking to the person who runs it. Receptionists pick up the phones.

I’m not so comfortable with my tragedy and the wonderful volunteers who kept my family running as a source of entertainment and curiosity

If it's just for curiosity, why are you calling them?
If you need to call them, be honest about it. It's fine. No one knows who you are. But if you don't need to call them, why would you be doing it?

Huh?? I want to know who I will be speaking to when I call. For curiosity sake I wanted to know who runs the organization. This is the only question that I'm curious about. The other questions are normal questions. What exactly is the more to it??

Thank you. I appreciate all posters who answered like normal people without attacking "sounds suspicious". Every 2nd thread "sounds suspicious on this forum. Ridiculous.

I think the way you phrased it by saying "just curious" made it sound like you aren't in need of their services and you are "just curious"
But I assume you are actually legit and the wording of your post just threw people off.
