Please vote. Thank you

Obviously not everyone is the same age in the class so for instance if they separate for 6th grade you would vote 12 since that's the general idea

If you send to the 4 year old program housed in our schools (we call it nursery) there are boy and girl classes. But the home groups for that age are mixed. Its more of a logistical thing then a hashkafic one.

The next year pre1a/K is fully separate.

OOT Bais Yaakov and boys affiliated school.

OOT community-type school. They separate in 1st grade, so approximately age 6.

I thought it depends on the year, some years 1st grade still has a coed class?

Not for the last few years and at this point it's pretty much a done deal.

OOT community school has mixed through kindergarten and separated in 1st grade (so age 6)

I have another kid in a Jewish Montessori school that goes up to 6th grade and is coed all the way.

My oldest is in Kita Aleph, and both genders are together. I know they either separate AT kita Daled or afyer kita Daled (meaning at kita hey) but I can't remember which.

Personally I would prefer separating before, but this is the only DL public school in my area and it's not worth moving/bussing.

I'm pretty modern and am happy to have my kids have opposite gender friends they play with outside of school, but I think schools should be gender separate as there have been secular studies showing girls do better and have more confidence when they are in girl only schools. Having been in a mixed school myself through high school, I can easily believe it.

My DD is in a DL co-ed school that goes from grade 1-6. After 6th grade all the local DL options are separate gender schools.

I voted other.

It really depends what school you send to. Just preschools tend to be mixed, but a preschool associated with a single gender elementary school will already be separate. Except in the summer when they run camps in the school buildings, then the preschool age bunks are mixed. Other schools in my local community are fully coed through high school and some have boys and girls in the same building but separate classes once they are in first grade. My kids go to separate gender schools so they've been separate since age 3, except for camps.

When I was a child the school I went to separated in fourth grade

5 years later by the time a sibling was there, they separated for third grade Hebrew but kept the class mixed for third grade English

I don't know what the school does nowadays.
