There's a wetland area next to my house. Is that the reason we get snakes in our yard?
Any proven way to prevent them from entering?
If you have snakes as well is there any wet areas in you area like wetland, ponds or water fountain? I'm wondering if it's water related.

Snakes live in all kinds of climates, but an undeveloped area near your house might be a good snake home.
I live next to the Jerusalem forest, and sometimes see them outside the building.
A cat might be a good deterrent. If you like cats.

In Israel you can have someone spray against snakes. I imagine if it exists here, it exists in other places.
