Everyone’s Purim is different, and so is everyone’s feelings about it…
Let’s hear about yours…..

I’ll start..
We stay on the same street all Purim.
No traveling around.
At night we have one extended families party at my moms.
In the morning the kids give shalach monis to all the neighbors etc.
Then again went over to moms (in laws live oot ) where many people came by, and my sons groups came to eat and dance…
In the evening we made a smaller seuda in my house with a few families and the kids just jumped around and had fun….
Closed shop early this year at 10:30ish…
Everyone had a great time, and mom wasn’t too overwhelmed!

I have basically an empty nest, so I had very little in the way of obligations. I felt I had the bandwidth and wanted to be as osek b’mitzvot as possible.

Davened/heard Megillah at the local ECF.

Delivered MM to about 70 people this year. About 50 were mine, and then was 2 tzedaka/Chessed organizations who needed delivery people.
My MM were low key and not expensive. (Think a can of Coke and a bag of chips) The goal being to increase feelings of friendship among neighbors. I wanted people to feel thought of and loved. They were definitely not impressed with my creativity or lavishness, as my goal was inclusivity on a budget.

Had my elderly parents and a non-frum cousin (who would not of had any Purim for that matter) for seudah.

Funny question - What's with turning nouns into verbs?? I see this in magazines too. How do you Purim? How do you Challah? How do you Cholent?

By night we go as a family to megillah reading (controversial here I know, but in my shul kids come for megillah) and if I need to leave early with a noisy kid then I hear at a neighbor later that night. At home we put the kids to bed, finish up shalach manos and last min seuda cooking.

Morning we get up early, filling healthy breakfast, I take some kids to their megillah and meet up and my husband takes some to their minyan / megillah and meet up. Then we meet up, go to a few houses (usually Rabbonim or people of that sort), get home in time for a late lunch and hang out at home welcoming people for lchaims while I set up the seuda. Then seuda and done.

Love Purim, love everything about it even when I get stressed out by it. It's my favorite yom tov.
We don't have any family so no conflicting parties or any of that drama.
