My dc five falls asleep by staring very closely-it's on his pillow- on alarm clock where the numbers shine red. Problem?

Is there a way to dim it? I’m not a dr but I can’t imagine it doesn’t have an effect, even just on his sleep habits if nothing else

I wouldn't.
When I was growing up, someone came to look at hour house to potentially buy it. They had some device that measures *I think* radiation. I remember that thing started beeping wildly by every single alarm clock. Since then, don't keep an alarm clock near me when I sleep. Makes me nervous that it's bad for your brain.
