Good one!

Some more:
“You were ALIVE on 9/11?” (Yes darling, I was in high school.)

How old was the person who said that? 9/11 was less than 25 years ago. I'm still in my 20s and I was alive during 9/11 (I don't remember it, though).

I felt old the first time I realized that one of my friends was born in the 2000s.

When my son said to me , were you in the olden days?

What year were you born, 2000 and what?

What did you have in the olden days? And I explained to him about cameras and films abd how we had to send off the filn and wait a good week or 2 to get the pictures back.

On a side note Im going grey at 31.
Im in that process of feeling proud until Il be embaressed and want to dye it.

I asked DD to take my phone and send a text to DH, which I dictated to her, while I was driving. She told me afterwards that she added punctuation because "that's what old people do."

I feel old when my cousins who were just toddlers at my wedding are being bar mitzvah and the ones just a lil older are getting married! They weren't even Part of my cousins group, they were like the next generation.
Also I'm pregnant now in mid 30s and it's so much rougher on me than my earlier pregnancies in my 20s.

Today? Nothing. I volunteered at an org that supplies services to the aged. Most of the clients are over 80 and there are people on the books who are over 100. I feel like a teenager, even though I've been eligible for senior citizen discounts for a few years now.

However--when I see smooth-skinned police officers who look like they're still in high school or go to a doctor who is younger than some of my shoes...ouch.
