Are your girls anxious and panicky? Please feel free to update when your daughter hears from a seminary. I hope everyone gets in to the seminary of their (1st or 2nd or 3rd) choice without a lot of agmas nefesh.

I’m already tired and wonder why we have to wait up until midnight. Can’t they do it at 10?
Regardless my daughter HS does not let them share which seminary they got into for two weeks to allow for second or third round of acceptances so most girls are in and won’t feel bad if it they don’t get in at first try. We’re told to not tell the grandparents either!

Good luck with that. There’s a Google spreadsheet that gets filled up the minute acceptances go out. Speaking from experience btw.

I don’t know if my daughter is anxious- she has a very calm and confident personality-but I definitely am 🙈. I know I shouldn’t be because we know that Hashem makes it so that what is meant to happen will happen and will ultimately be good, but the unknown is giving me butterflies. It’s very considerate that your daughter’s school tells them not to discuss it for several weeks. Hatzlacha to everyone awaiting answers!

Just want to post a PSA because this happened to us. I was surprised that we didn’t hear anything from one particular seminary. They called us and asked if we were sending and I told them there was no correspondence. It turns out that their emails went straight to my Trash folder. Remember to check your Spam and Trash folders!

Last year we hadn’t heard from top choice. Stayed up all night with crying dd. By morning I emailed the school— they had our email address totally wrong! She was accepted. So no email means something just didn’t go thru for some reason. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you don’t hear! Hatzlacha!
