Would anyone be interested in starting a book club here in this thread?

We can pick a book say once a month to read and discuss.

Would it always have to be kosher book?

Bc I just reread "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" and it's fantastic. But not at all what would be consider kosher.

That's a good question. It probably depends on what most people here want. Open to feedback from others.

I personally try to stick to books I would describe as semi- clean. Limited cursing, prefer fade to black sx scenes.

Most books that I read are light hearted from com / chick light... But some do have one heavy make out/almost scene. Then it either fades or they are interrupted...

Authors I read, Sophie Kinsella, Beth O'Leary, Sophie Cousens, Mhairi McFarlane etc

I only asked bc I might be interested... But these are the types of books I read and I would love to discuss them. But most of them have at least one almost scene and mild language

I love this idea! I’d want it to be nonjewish books as those are way more accessible at libraries.
