Any really good sales on really good laptops?

Wondering if prime day and its competitors can help because I can't wait until black Friday, my computer is really unreliable right now. I see some sales but not sure what's good.

My priorities are:
Preferably below $500 but for great specs I'd go up to 550ish.
14" is my sweet spot but I'm OK with a little bigger or smaller. Not more than 15.6 nor less than 13.
I want fast, smooth processing. No less than a recent or recent-ish i5/ryzen 5, and preferably 16gb ram.
Good screen quality is important. Doesn't need to be the best of the best but it's one of the main reasons I am returning the first one I tried (hp bought from Costco, hope they're serious about open return policy because I'm really not happy with it)
Good battery life would be a real plus but as long as it's not really lousy I'll live. I mostly work at home anyway.

Hoping for a metzia because I think by nature what I'm looking for is over my budget. Amazon had something that looked good but I missed it before I had time to investigate.
