Staying home. Had enough days for outings. Hashana raba we don’t feel it’s appropriate anymore.

It's not chol hamoed anymore. It's hoshana raba & erev yom tov. There's a meal plus prep for yom tov. If the kids get bored, they'll watch something.

depends on the year. sometimes I need a low key outing so we'll go to a park or a waterfall. this year looks like were staying home. we had a long CH and it was enough.

It's more then erev yt, Hishana Rabba is a serious day and we don't see it as a time for trips.
We eat a meal and the do the cleaning. Kids get screentime to stay out of the way.

Hmmm Hoshana Raba is a serious day, so therefore we put the kids in front of screens?

Erev 2nd days of Pesach we usually go to a park or a short somewhat local trip. Especially if it was a short chol hamoed. Hoshana Rabbah doesn’t work out with the seudah although today dh got the privilege of going to Costco with most of the kids while I stayed home to cook.
