The same as the seudas hamafsekes (more or less)

Challa rolls
Brocolli soup
Pasta salad
Tival sausages (for my kids)
Scrambled eggs, if I have the strength!
Shnitzel if anyone wants.
Biscotti
Oat bars
Fruit ice lolly (if I manage to buy, I forgot to get these, we like to have them after a fast)

For the past 30 years or so I make the same thing for a meal after the fast - huge pot of Ukrainian borscht. It’s warm, it’s hearty and has everything you need to recover after the fast.

When do you make the fresh rolls? I usually make a fresh bread every fast but it’s only good fresh so I don’t want to make it the day before

I'm making a big pot of split pea soup tomorrow for both before and after the fast.

After the fast I will make veggie omelettes on the Betty crocker and toasted whole wheat bread

I bought a big container of rugelach for the kids for yom kipper, hopefully there will be some leftover for me and dh after the fast Smile
