Dw I just started too!
Not a big deal!
Make it simple! It's a regular shabbos plus 2 meals!!
Salad for first dish and/or geflite fish baked in oven for one meal.
Salmon with honey/soy sauce in oven for another meal.
Roast, put carrots in pan(overnight in oven on low heat, slice tomorrow when cool)and serve with rice! (Literally, takes 15 minutes to prepare!!)
Chicken, potatoes and green beans (another 15 minutes)
Soak beans and peel potatoes for chulent. (10 minutes)
Peel all vegetables for chicken soup and clean chicken for soup (10 minutes)
Tomorow make chulent and soup(another 10 minutes)
Make a very detailed list before going to the store!

You are so nice!! Thanks for offering, but alas I am not in Lakewood.

How do you manage to have so much food?! Are you a big cooker in advance type of lady?

These are awesome ideas. I already came back from the store with all my ingredient so I'll have to try this another time when I'm in a bind. Yes, it will happen again lol

Thanks for writing this out!

I'm leaving my cooking for Yom tov on purpose lol. Prepping all the foods and cooking fresh the day of, which I'm hosting
So basically until then, just cooking for shabbos as usual

I'm the OP of the tired thread. I'm impressed you started! I just got off the couch and am now on here to catch up. Soon I'll go back onto the couch to complain how nothing is getting done.
