We bought a challah tray from Judaica Plaza. The brand is BTShalom. Does anyone know if we need to toivel it?

If it is plastic no. If it is glass or metal and it directly touches the challah, then I believe it does. That is unless a yid made it.

OT but I used to know someone who made and sold handcrafted pottery. I bought a few things from her and was tickled to realize that they could be used right away and didn't need tevillah. That was a first!

Right that’s why I’m asking if anyone knows if products made by this company need to be toivelled. They’re obviously a Jewish company but do they do the actual manufacturing?

If it says made in China, then it's safe to assume they don't.

Otherwise, call or email the company and ask them.
