So I've been wondering about this for a while
I'm curious to know if the havara of a hebrew song matters to you. Which do you prefer? Which tugs at your heart more and awakens stronger emotion?

I am not chassidish, but their havara is the sweetest most heartwarming one...

I like when a chassidsh person sings in his havara and a litvish person sings in his.
I don't like when they try to cross over because it usually sounds inauthentic.

I like for each artist to stick to their natural havara. It feels weird to me when I listen to chassidish singers in litvish havaros, litvish singers doing Israeli havara, Israelis doing chassidish, or any other mixed version.
I've been touched by songs in all havaros, sung in the havara they were originally released.

I feel like chassidish ppl wld appreciate hearing their havarah and litvish ppl wld like to hear what's familiar to them, no?
That being said, I do agree that the worst is when they try a havara that isn't natural to them. Just be yourself.
And the absolute worst is when they sing Israeli Hebrew song without the proper Israeli accent. That is simply painful to listen to.

I don't listen to the havara but to the words and tune of a song.
If the words are good and the tune is hartzig, it can move me to tears.

Your poll doesn't include Sephardic havara. I'm sure for many Sephardic/Israeli Imas that would be the havara closest to their heart...
