If you have toilet trained more than one, vote for average.

Mine are usually over 3. I had to train one before 3 because of a school deadline and it was rough! Bh we made it.

But I did have one who trained herself at 2.5. Kids are all different.

My son was at 3 years and 2 months approx
My daughter was 2 years and 10 months approx (I needed to for school)

I know it's at the later end, but I will say that it was a breeze and no big deal at all. The people I know who had a hard time and it was a whole long drawn out process started much earlier

My kids were:

3.5
3 and 3 months
4.5
under3
4
2

I voted 3- 3.5 but I have a very wide range. It really depends when each kid is ready.

My son started going to the bathroom on his own at about a year and a half, of his own volition. I would say fully toilet trained at about 2.2-2.4 years old

Just started toilet training DS at 2.8
He’s wearing a diaper for nighttime and just told me that he likes diapers more than underwear
Should I give up?

Of course he likes diapers. It's so much easier than having to stop playing every time he needs the toilet. Would never stop training because of that
Talk a lot about how babies wear diapers and big boys wear underwear

I have 5 kids . I had two kids train for night and day before age two. They asked to be trained.

Two others were trained between 2 and 2.5 but one of them wet his bed at night until age 9.

My first trained the week of his upsherin and wet his bed at night until he was 14.

First was 2.5 so I started my 2nd at that age. Big mistake. She wasn't ready and now wants nothing to do with her potty. It all depends on the kid. When you push them and they're not ready, it takes longer and backfires oj you

2.8 is young for a boy. Unless you need to do it for school, I would drop it for now.

I disagree with shaming him that diapers is something for babies. 2.8 IS a baby. I recommend dropping it, waiting a few more months and trying again. I didn't even attempt to train my ds until 3 years 2 months

My kids were:
2.5 (had a new baby- had to rush the older one-I regret it!)
2
2
3
3
3.5
3
3
NOTE:
Waiting until the kids were verbal enough and ready (around age 3) was the best!
