Looking for ideas for a girls name. Dati Sefardi Israeli circles but I'd prefer something that would work in America too. Preferably something from the tanach
Names already in the family are Malca, Rachel, Rifka, Michal, Avigayil, Chana.
Any ideas?

Please don't!! The same why you shouldn't give the nickname Dudu for Dovid in the U.S. Poor babies...

Ossi is fine and even Osnas with an "s". The suggestion given above was Osnat with a "t". If they are dati sefardi in Israel, that is likely the way it woudl be pronounced, which just does not work in the States.

Not to derail, but you got me curious now. I'm not from the US and English isn't my first language. What is the problem with Osnat with a "t"?

In israel some add ush at the end of a name as an endearment, like Rivkush, chayalush, Michalush, but please dont add it to Rut in America as it comes out as Ru-tush.
