I like aromas of aleppo for syrian recipes and recipes from the non persian bride by reyna simnegar.
You can do moroccan chicken...
I take chicken bottoms with skin, place in a pyrex or glass dish, on top I put olive oil, squeezed fresh lemon, baby potatoes, fresh garlic, green pitted olives, cumin, salt, turmeric, paprika, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro and parsley. Cover and cook on 350 for about 2 hours then uncover and cook until nicely browned.
Very easy to make
