Small chocolate balls. You can make a pattern with white, milk chocolate and dark.
Or chocolate leaves.
Caramel topping.
Strawberry or cherry pie filling from a can.

There are tons of ready made toppings in the grocery. My kids selected a flavor and then went to find it at the grocery. We did one in lotus, one in caramel with white chocolate shavings, and one chocolate with click balls.

Melt some milk chocolate in the microwave, put in a ziploc bag and cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag, then make a crissfross pattern or spiral or other pattern, it looks amazing. I also crushed up some chocolate graham crackers and dusted the top lightly for a little extra flair.

If you want beautiful and very stylish go for sour cream/sugar topping with a big fresh flower in the center like a peony
ETA the whisk had 3 pretty and easy ideas too..
