Oh wise food guru,

Can minute steak and club steak be cooked the same way and for the same amount of time?

(Saw your easy minute steak recipe but have Club steak.)

TIA!

Club steak can be seared/broiled for a few minutes on each side (minute steak is too lean for that and needs to be cooked low and slow).
But if you wanted to cook club steak low and slow like minute steak, it can be done.

Thanks!

So would this recipe of yours work with club steak? Any tweaks?

“Rub with a drop of oil and smear with crushed garlic and lots of salt on all sides. Lay over a bed of sliced onion and just a small amount of water. Seal tightly and bake at 325 for 3 hours.”

This recipe will not work with club steaks.
Club steaks need to be grilled just a few minutes on each side on very high heat

It can work.

For pesach I did the following and it came out delicious and soft.
Dip club steak in flour, salt, spices and sear on both sides. Bake covered with chicken soup on 400 for 3 hours. (Not too much salt cuz the chicken soup adds saltiness)

I do similar. It comes out delicious.
No oil, less garlic plus paprika, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Drop of soy sauce to help tenderize it.
