What can I substitute for chicken broth for meat. Calls for a half cup. I only have beef broth, thought I had both. Thank you

Use the beef broth. It will be fine

You could also use veggie broth or plain water. The flavor may be a bit less intense if you use water, but the recipe will still work.

Or you can use some water with consommé mix.

Any of the above choices are fine

Water with added salt (sometimes garlic) is perfect.
