CHABAD'S BIGGEST CHANUKA EVENT EVER TO TAKE PLACE @ UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA!

In what is predicted to be the biggest Chabad Chanuka event ever, SNS has learned, that after weeks of negotiations between the Shluchim in Florida and Universal Orlando Resort there will the first ever "Universal Chanukah".

The first weekend of Chanukah, Dec. 23rd -25th, Universal Orlando Resort invites the Jewish community to experience their incredible rides and attractions at their two amazing theme parks, Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure.

Jewish guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy live performances from internationally renowned performing artists Gad Elbaz and Yehuda Glantz plus witness the kindling of a giant Menorah at a Grand Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Sunday evening, December 25th on the Main Stage at Universal CityWalk.

Catering to the thousands of Jewish guests who will be coming to Orlando from throughout Florida, the U.S., and around the globe, Universal Orlando will offer freshly prepared Glatt Kosher food at their restaurants, La Bamba Cafe in Universal Studios and at Thunder Falls Terrace in Islands of Adventure.!

To celebrate the weekend in Orlando, many “Universal Chanukah” vacationers will have the option to join a fabulous Shabbaton retreat enriched with inspirational speakers, celebrated cantors, delicious gourmet meals, a special kidz-camp and a fun-filled Saturday night “Kum-zitz”.

A Universal Chanukah is being coordinated as a joint effort by the more than 101 Chabad Centers throughout the state of Florida in an effort to spread the Universal message of Chanukah of light over darkness and goodness over evil and to offer families of all ages an opportunity to unite and enjoy family fun quality entertainment.
