wow! surprised to see this here. Thanks for the mazel tovs. I gave birth Wednsday night to a healthy 6lb 9 oz baby (Baruch Hashem). And I was very happy that I stayed with the family doctor through the pregnancy, she was an amazingly warm person and very easy to feel comfurtable with. (Although she wasn't able to make it for the birth, but I had a good experience there as well.) For example, she came to see me in the hospital, and she checked the baby incase my pediatrician couldn't make it in, so that I would be able to be discharged on time. The baby must have made a dirty diaper just then... and so she started changing it. I was like, you dont have to do that.. I'll take care of it, so she answered, "I go by the finders keepers rule... I sew it first so I do it!"
