For fettuccine alfredo and penne a la vodka and then warm them up later and add to noodles?

You can prepare it and freeze before cooking; sauté, cool and add the saucy items, but don't cook through until ready to use.

For penne ala vodka freezing the sauce will work fine. For fettuccine Alfredo, a traditional recipe will separate when freezing and not do so well. You can make something similar in taste that is roux based that will freeze beautifully.
