I see a lot of KFP "noodles" in the store these days. I'm hesitant to waste time and money buying and prepping them if they just turn into a mushy mess. Does anybody have any experience with successfully making them?

I have successfully used them for kugel. I also stirred them into meatballs for the last few minutes (without cooking the noodles first), they absorbed the tomato sauce and that was a yummy dinner.

I've also been successful with sweet/fruity 'lockshen' kugel and I've used them as a bed for bolognaise sauce and they were fine.
They weren't so great for dairy mac' n cheese type dishes unfortunately.

Nah. Not worth the money, in my opinion.
If you want something that looks like noodles and that you can serve with sauce, I would go with "zoodles" - those pseudo-noodles you make by spiralizing zucchini. I love those. I make them all year round.

Also: great as a baked ziti/ lasagna dish. Trick is to use the "ziti" and boil it for literally 1 minute. Drain, rinse, add marinara sauce and a bag of shredded mozarella cheese - (using two bags of "ziti")
More cheese on top- 9x13 pan, bake for 10 min at 300. My kids love it. The theory, they claim is that anything with lotsa marinara and cheese is a winner!
