Not a real recipe
But pumpkin puree
Fill the same can with milk 2x (could be parve)
Water until desired consistency
Salt and pepper (it’s yummier with consume powder but I don’t use it)
Serve with a dollop of sour cream- OPTIONAL

It really doesn't taste good in soup form. The pure natural canned pumpkin is delicious for pie and pasta.

There's a black bean pumpkin soup in Elizabeth Kurtz's cookbook Celebrate. It's a thing - google and you'll find other recipes.

If I were making a soup from canned pumpkin, I would make something very similar to this recipe.
I would add ginger and skip flour, maple syrup and onions, and probably decrease the amount of broth.

If you are just looking for ways to use your canned pumpkin, this list has some interesting ideas.

I don't think so. Epicurious has a split pea pumpkin soup https://www.epicurious.com/rec.....32424 not sure how to adjust with canned pumpkin but I think canned should work.

I don't have one, but if you mix with a box of Duncan Hines, you get great vegan brownies.

If this were a soup, I'd say butternut squash. I'm not sure about the liquid content.
