I want to go on a hike with my husband when we go and hes very adventurous and im more of a "let's sit in the chair and sip lemonade while we watch the trees sway" so we are looking for a VERY low impact hike. I don't mean it has to be flat but no rappelling or crossing water....
It can be anywhere in the country, it's all beautiful.
TIA!

In the Banyas, there is a waterfall. You need to hike through a park for about an hour to get through it. amazing, fresh freezing cold water springs. Take a barbecue with you.

You sound like my kind of hiker !

Try in the Golan - Ein tina - walk next to water to a spring.

Tel Dan - nature reserve and amazing water and springs. End up with yor feet in the freezing water. (entry fee)

If you want to get wet - Madrasa - north of the Kineret walking in knee deep to waist deep water.

And Nachal Kibbutsim.

I will ask my kids where else we have gone and was suitable for Ima !

harder - Breichat Hameshushim
Maarat Hakeshet (somewhere near to Naahria area I think)

In Gush Etsion there are lots of Maayonot - springs with long or short walks.

ENjoy

The Banias is a archaeological site and waterfall the word Banias comes from the ancient Pan of mythology. There is no P in Arabic, so they use B. In the park there are caves that were used for idol worship and the Shomronim (Samaritans) make sacrifices there on some holiday. The rest of the time Jews barbeque. Then you can walk or take the car to a lot above the waterfall. You go down a trail maybe 5-10 minutes and reacha beautiful tree covered romantic spot with the waterfall.

If you're looking for a hike for a hot day and you don't mind getting your feet wet, Nahal Cziv is almost completely covered with foliage. You can walk in the water or on the path along the side. It's not far from Naharia.
