Hi all,
My daughter is entering nursery next year and I’m looking into schools for my daughter. I would love to hear personal experience or what you know. The schools I’m currently thinking about are Bnos Chaya, Tomer Devora, Nesivos, and I’m open to hearing about more schools that you think would fit. I want a good school that really cares about the girls, and instilling good values and middos and joy in yiddishkeit.

What about the regular Bais Yakov?

Gan Yisroel and Nesivos are not exclusively chasidish.
Also, Nesivos is no longer in BP.
They moved to OP and Foster.

None are heimish besides nesivos and gan yisroel. Rest are equally chassidish. Bnos chaya maybe drop more neutral chassidish but also considered chassidish.

I send to Bnos Chaya. Great school, very well run. Its definitely chassidish but a wonderful, mixed crowd with quite a few kids from less chassidish homes

Huh? Isn't OP looking for chassidish schools? All the schools listed are chassidish besides Nesivos.

Nesivos Bais yaakov is not a chassidish school. They don’t speak with a chassidish havara like TD and bnos Chaya. I wouldn’t put it together with Tomer Devorah and Bnos Chaya. Maybe you’re looking more like a Vien type

Bnos chaya is very chassidish.
My sil sent her girls there until she moved to lkwd and now she sends her girls to klausenberg in lkwd..

Maybe because they were from more chassidish Homes and didn’t feel like they belong. School was not intended to be a chassidish school the whole way it’s run is not in a chassidish way. Bnos Chaya is a chassidish school. The whole way it’s run is in a chassidish derech. A nice amount of clientele in NBY are from Kensington/ Flatbush and Bensonhurst and are more yeshivish.

Most chassidim in my circles consider themselves "heimish" too. "Heimish" has lots of meanings.
