I've been discovering names on my family tree and wondering what they mean.

Ever hear of the name Mircha? What does it mean?

And everyone's heard of Lippa, but what does that mean?

Leibish= Leib, meaning Lion, often used as yiddish for Aryeh

Elka= Elisheva in Yiddish
