Would anyone have a good cake recipe that I can use fresh blueberries in?
Please let me know before shabbos, hoping to make a nice desert for my guests. Thank you!

Can you not just make a regular vanilla (or yellow duncan heinz) cake, and after pouring batter in bowl, drop the berries in?
For some reason I remember reading/hearing that if you dust (well) the b.berries with flour you have a better chance against them all sinking to the bottom of the pan.

heres one, I hope you get it in time:
its not exactly a cake but more like a bar 8 x 8
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine (I use oil)
cinnamon
hand mix the ingredients
place 1/2 in pan
add bluberries in the middle and place the rest of the batter
350 for about 45-1 hr

baby's mom: thank you for your reply, but unfortunately I got it too late and tried something else which totally flopped
Oh well, BH I had also some really nice fruit!
I'll try your soon though thank you,
I can use fresh blue berries, usually these bars call for more pie filling type, like a syrupy spread type?

baby's mom I tried your recipe, but thers hardly any wet ingredients, it seems like it will fall apart when I cut it. Is that how it's supposed to be?

I always go to allrecipes.com - they have great recipes and it's easy to use. You can also adjust the measurements according to your needs.

I just made this cake yesterday!
1 1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 c oil
1 egg
1/3 c rice or soy milk (or regular milk to make milchig)
1 c fresh blueberries
Preheat oven to 350
Combine dry ingredients
Combine oil, egg, and milk
Mix with dry mixture
Fold in blueberries
Pour into 8x8 square pan
Bake for 25-30 minutes
You can also make into muffins but increase heat to 400 and bake for 20-25 minutes.
These are really good!
