Remember the ‘Gross Food Game’ that we used to play as kids, and I still love to play it with my kids today?!

Rules? Name a combination of TWO foods, the grossest combo wins. Only 2 restrictions. It must be kosher, no Milk & meat combos. And Rule # 2 it can’t contain chocolate, since chocolate is good with anything.

Some great combos that scored me high points:

Milkshake and Broccoli
Meatballs and grapes
Farina and fish sauce

You lost a point. I know people who eat every shabbos food with ketchup! In fact, many people only eat ANY foods on the condition that it’s drowning in ketchup., my son likes ketchup and scrambled eggs. Note the ketchup is mentioned first, as in, contains mostly ketchup…

there are lot of bad chocolate combos so I'm surprised you can't use it.

you'd want say

melted chocolate over:

a) broccoli?
b) potato kugel?
c) gefilte fish?
d) mixed with lemon sauce on top of lamb chops together with garlic and ground horseradish and riches whip altogether in a bowl of beef broth? with more rich's whip for good measure?

or maybe mixed into the chicken soup?

sounds horrific to me

I used to love playing this game with my zeide, a"h when I was a child. Thanks for bringing back fond memories.

Bashinda, you can’t have more than 2 foods! Otherwise, my kids would qualify every day if I look away from the dinner table for one minute, all courses are nicely merged in a soup bowl……… <licking>
