Nope, we use the pulka from the chicken, not the part that ends off in the wing, but the drumstick part that ends off with the yellow feet! And no, it’s not because ‘uvezroa netiya’ it’s because it is a symbol of the korbon pesach. It’s a big sheilah actually if you point on it and say ‘this is the korbon pesach’ you’re not supposed to do that.

"other" in the poll refers to animal parts? like shankbone?

(had to look up "shankbone" in the dictionary! it's the leg of an animal)

so motek I'm looking for some good answers as to why we do not eat the zeroah and yet the afikomen is to represent korbon pesach ...

so my son wouldn't let me use my wing ... so I waited till second night when he was by his father ... oh well

because the zeroa, unlike the matza-afikoman, looks like something that could have been a korbon

Well, after all that, we used HALF of a chicken wing...because it fit better in the pretty plastic cups DH bought to hold the various items on the ke'arah!
