Has it been done? does it work? I'm thinking of using the knife blade.
I dont want to use a manual peppermilll...it will take ages...

they do make electric mills...just more $$$...and another trip to bed bath and beyond.... ...I just wonder if it would work. The blade on the Cusinart is pretty powerful.

I made a post a while back about grinding peppercorns myself, maybe you want to search for it. The outcome was mixed but I remember Defy saying something like if they weren’t really finely ground they gagged her!
Something to consider. You need the peppercorns AND you need the right machine!

thanks choc...I dont mind coarsely ground pepper, I actually use a peppermill all year and I grind it very coarsely-more like cracked black pepper..
.I have the peppercorns and I guess I'll give it a shot in the processor and let you know what happens
