We don't start our ladies Shiurim until after Pesach, and Daylight savings time starts next week, so Shabbos will come in and go out late.

What are you going to do to bide your time?

We get to have a longer shabbos nap each! Maybe take walks if the weather is nice.

I know - I just told DH that I don't mind a long Shabbos if the weather is warm enough for us to spend all day outside. It's too cold now, but he told me it should warm up next week. let's hope it lasts.

Ditto.
I don't know how the rest of the world gets through a long hard week of work without shabbos.

Well, I go to shul on Shabbos morning, otherwise I could not sleep all morning and all afternoon too.

What I'm really looking for is something to do after the nap, like after 5 PM.

withhumor, how do you manage such a miracle with a house full of kids? Wow. I have one child and I barely manage to get an hour's nap. Tongue Out

I don’t manage, I do it! my kids are ok, they’re not wild and they barely fight… and they know that this is a fact of life and they feed themselves some cake… they change the baby… hey, it’s shabbos!

G-d forbid I shut my eyes on the couch & my kids are all over me. DH lets me sleep in in the moirning because I'm not a napping kind of peron. I wake up nauseous. He sometimes sleeps on Shabbos afternoons in the summer. In the winter, he sleeps in on Sundays.
