Anyone know of a good tasting vanilla/black chocolate icing for a cake, without using crisco? Also a recipe that I can use in decorating bags?

my friend mixes pareve milk with confectionary sugar.
It comes out pretty good!
If you want chocolate icing, add cocoa.

go to www.wilton.com. They have a buttercream icing recipe & a chocolate variation. they also have a Special Buttercream recipe that calls for whipped cream & is a bit lighter & fluffier & easier to spread
